Healthy Families – TIP
Norwescap’s Healthy Families program helps young families in Warren and Hunterdon counties get a strong start. Eligible participants work with a Home Visitor for three years after the birth of their baby to ensure that the child is healthy and happy.
Services include:
- Long-term support from a Home Visitor for the first three years of your child’s life
- Education and information on parenting best practices
- Referrals and information about other services in the community
- Parent meetings with guest speakers and opportunity to socialize
- Translation and interpretation

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the free Healthy Families program, participants must:
- Live in Warren or Hunterdon County in New Jersey
- Be pregnant or have a newborn under 3 months of age (if receiving TANF benefits, the child can be up to 12 months of age)
Norwescap Healthy Families-TIP of Warren & Hunterdon Counties, a program of Prevent Child Abuse NJ, strives to provide all expectant and new parents with the opportunity to receive the education and support they need at the time their baby is born.
This free, evidence-based program is nationally recognized and is structured as a home visiting model designed to work with families who may have histories of trauma, intimate partner violence, mental health, and/or substance abuse issues.
