Norwescap’s work throughout New Jersey empowers individuals and families to move away from the poverty crisis and toward a future where they can thrive. Our mission is to partner with individuals and families to create pathways to achieve their hopes and dreams.

Our organization is dedicated to empowering our community through an extensive range of programs, assisting tens of thousands of individuals annually. Beyond offering services, we focus on driving real impact by tracking short- and long-term outcomes to monitor participants’ progress. Here are just a few of the ways Norwescap programs have made an impact in our New Jersey communities:

• Over 7,000 community members in need, across over 3,500 households in the counties that we serve. 
• Over 3.5 million pounds of food distributed to households in partnership with over 60 local food pantries. 
• Over 12,000 hours of volunteer service backing the communities that we serve, increasing the capacity of our food bank, partnered community organizations, and directly supporting households in need.
