County Councils for Young Children
Norwescap’s County Councils for Young Children (CCYC) program is a collaborative partnership between local parents/families, community providers, and stakeholders that strives to contribute to the development and implementation of high quality early childhood services. Participants in the partnership work together to assess needs, concerns, aspirations and successes around issues that affect the health, education and wellbeing of their children. Through CCYC, parents are supported in leadership roles and empowered to be a voice to better the lives of their children. Norwescap runs these councils in Hunterdon, Morris, and Warren County. Any parent with children below the age of 8 in these counties is encouraged to join.
