Support Families this Mother’s Day
Your gift provides critical support to help moms and children thrive!
Mothers and mother figures are the glue that keeps many families together – but for so many moms in our communities, providing the very best for their children means sacrificing and struggling financially. Your gift today helps us support families with food, housing, childcare, employment, and more…ensuring that families’ needs are met today, and that moms can do what they do best – focus on their children’s happiness.
Together, we can give moms and children in our communities the gift of help and hope.

Donor Advised Fund(DAF)
Opening a Donor Advised Fund (DAF) allows you to set aside charitable dollars to donate later, while maximizing your tax deduction now.
Already have a DAF? This is a great time to use the funds you’ve already set aside to support the work of your favorite nonprofit!
If you are 70 ½ or older and you have an IRA, you can donate up to $100,000 to a 501(c)(3) public charity through a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD), which is not taxable and which will reduce the taxable income remaining in your IRA.
By making a stock donation, you can deduct the gift from your taxes based on the value of the shares at the time of donation, and avoid paying capital gains taxes on the donated amount. For information on how to make a stock donation to Norwescap, call Heather Thompson at 908-454-7000 x1106.
Consider naming Norwescap (or your favorite 501(c)(3) in your will/estate plans. Your legacy gift will help to ensure that the impact of your generosity is felt for years to come!
Norwescap is proud to share our 100/100 “Give with Confidence” Encompass Rating from Charity Navigator, the world’s largest independent charity evaluator. Visit our Charity Navigator profile to learn more.
Norwescap works tirelessly to support our community members through our broad portfolio of programs. We provide support to more than 30,000 individuals each year, but our commitment goes much deeper than simply delivering services. We have developed robust systems to measure short- and long-term outcomes, so we can gauge our participants’ progress towards their goals, and we also invite their feedback on how we are doing. We want to ensure that our work is making a meaningful difference in people’s lives and supporting them on their journeys to stability.
