Health Connections
Norwescap’s Health Connections provides resources to help ensure that everyone has the opportunity to be healthy. We provide a variety of services, including:
- Free cancer screening and support for eligible households
- Information and support for vaccinations
- Transportation to medical appointments
- Educational webinars and events

Cancer Education and Early Detection (CEED)
The CEED program provides breast, cervical, prostate and colorectal cancer outreach, education and screening services to eligible people who are of low income, uninsured or underinsured in Warren County.
Services for women include:
- Cervical cancer screenings, which may include a pap smear and pelvic exam
- Breast cancer screenings, which may include a clinical breast exam, mammogram or breast ultrasound
- Colorectal cancer screenings, which may include fecal occult blood test (FIT), colonoscopy, and/or flexible sigmoidoscopy
- Education regarding risk factors and the importance of early detection
Services for men include:
- Prostate cancer screenings, which may include a digital rectal exam and prostate-specific antigen test (PSA)
- Colorectal cancer screenings, which may include fecal occult blood test (FOBT), colonoscopy, and/or flexible sigmoidoscopy
- Breast cancer screenings (for men at high-risk for breast cancer)
To qualify, individuals must be:
- Residents of Warren County in NJ (Exceptions may apply)
- Women age 21 years and older
- Men age 45 years and older
- High-risk individuals, and anyone with a personal or family history, may begin screening at a younger age
- Must be uninsured or underinsured
- Have income below 250% of the federal poverty level

Vaccine Support
Norwescap’s Health Connections team is available to support individuals looking for information and resources to obtain vaccinations that keep them and our whole communities safe. Please call us at 908-387-9888 to speak with one of our Community Health Workers. Assistance is available in English and Spanish.

WIC
Norwescap’s Women, Infants, & Children (WIC) program provides supplemental nutritious foods to pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women, infants and children up to the age of five. Fathers may also bring their children to apply and learn more about WIC services.

Norwescap’s Food Bank is dedicated to ending hunger and reducing food waste in New Jersey.
