Under the Spring Sky: Celebrating Community at Norwescap’s 22nd Annual Frolic in the Park

As you step into the park, a world of wonder unfolds before your eyes. Children laugh and play – their joy echoing through the air like a song of happiness. The scent of hot dogs sizzling on the grill mingles with the sweet smell of spring, tickling your senses and letting you know that winter has officially left and sunshine, warmth, new buds and green grass are here to stay… AND PLAY!

  • And so many more!

For over two decades, Norwescap has hosted Frolic in the Park, bringing children, from wee babies to preschool, all the way to the teen years with their parents and caregivers together for an evening of outdoor fun. This year, we invite you to join us as we celebrate our 22nd year of this beloved tradition.

The party comes alive at the DJ’s command, with music that gets both kids and adults grooving to the beat while groups of children proudly wearing firefighter hats given out by the Phillipsburg Fire Department run past in a swirl. There are so many activities to enjoy, and a wide variety of useful programs and their resources offered.

So, join the picnic! Gather your loved ones and join us for the always unforgettable totally completely FREE event at Walters Park. Let’s celebrate the spirit of community, the joy of togetherness, and the beauty of Phillipsburg, all under the open sky.
