Maritza Baakman
Maritza Baakman is the Executive Secretary to Norwescap’s CEO, and she also supports and collaborates with the other members of the leadership team as well as members of the Board of Trustees. Maritza immigrated to the United States in 1962; this experience is what has developed into her passion and her desire to better the community and the lives of Norwescap’s clients and staff.
It is Maritza’s philosophy that “How you do anything is how you do everything.” It is with this mindset that Maritza approaches the work she does for Norwescap with exceptional care. With over a decade of experience in her role, she helped move Norwescap’s mission forward, streamlining processes to allow the CEO and team to focus on pressing issues and better serve the community.
