NAME OF POSITION: EHS TEACHER

40 HOURS PER WEEK, FULL YEAR

Job Overview
We are fast-paced and high-demand, non-profit program that depends on everybody in every position to help our centers function with ease. You will gain diverse experience working with an at-risk population. Cross-training is available and expected for all positions.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Supervise and care for children in the classroom to ensure a safe, clean, and healthy learning environment.
  • Ensure compliance with Head Start Performance Standards, federal and state regulation, and licensing requirements.
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and assessment for the classroom.
  • Maintain recordkeeping and reporting systems to ensure accurate information, with timely completion and follow-up.

Qualifications
Minimum Education Level
High School Diploma/GED

Preferred Education Level
Associates, or higher, in early childhood education, social work, or related field

Experience
Some experience preferred

Preferred Experience
2+ years of direct experience with at-risk population

Personal characteristics: Self-motivated, compassionate, flexible, Inclusive, reliable
Certifications: Infant/Toddler CDA
Physical abilities: Lift 30 pounds

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.19 – $21.50 per hour
