NAME OF POSITION: RINGOES BUS AIDE

15/20 HOURS PER WEEK, PART YEAR

Job Overview
We are a fast-paced and high-demand, non-profit program that depends on everybody in every position to help our centers function with ease. You will gain diverse experience working with an at-risk population. Cross-training is available and expected for all positions.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Help children board and exit the bus safely
  • Assure that the bus driver is not distracted from the safe operation of the vehicle
  • Follow confidentiality practices
  • Ensure that no child is left unattended on the bus
  • Ensure children are properly positioned and restrained

Qualifications
Minimum Education Level:

High School Diploma/GED

Better:
Associates, or higher, in early childhood education

Experience:

Some experience preferred

Better:

2+ years of direct experience with at- risk population

Personal characteristics:

  • Compassionate
  • Child Friendly

Certifications: None

Physical Abilities:

  • Lift 30 pounds

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.46 per hour

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
