Please join Norwescap via Zoom on Thursday, February 24, 2022, 5:30pm to 6:30pm (scroll down for link and dial-in info) to provide feedback on Norwescap’s Neighborhood Revitalization Tax Credit (NRTC) 10 Year Plan for Phillipsburg, NJ. This plan represents the collective work of Norwescap and Phillipsburg South Main Street community stakeholders to articulate a vision for the neighborhood’s continued revitalization.
Norwescap’s Community Development department focuses on building vibrant communities where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. Through a number of initiatives, including the State of New Jersey’s NRTC program, Norwescap has invested more than $2 million in downtown Phillipsburg to date. These investments have allowed us to rehabilitate and repair neighborhood homes; promote homeownership; grow local businesses; and enhance quality of life for those who work and live in Phillipsburg.
The strategies in this new 10-year plan seek to achieve measurable change in the neighborhood over the next decade across three key goals: Housing, Economic Opportunity, and Community Building. A draft of the plan is available for review here. We encourage the public to review the plan and provide feedback during a public forum held on Thursday, February 24, 2022, via Zoom.
