When you’re young, you dream of the days when you can take off and ride into the sunset. Bikes are that very first opportunity for kids to catch that sunset while being physically active, safe and having a real blast. Thanks to Valley Bank, Housing and Community Development Network of New Jersey, and Onbikes, eighteen lucky kids from Norwescap’s Head Start and Early Head Start programs in Sussex County are cruising.
Onbikes, a non-profit builds quality bikes and donates them just because they believe “Every Kid Deserves A Bike,” teamed up with Valley Bank and their Summer Bike Program where summer interns built these amazing bikes.
Norwescap volunteers picked up the bikes and delivered them into the hands of smiling parents and children. On behalf of our children, their parents and Norwescap we are incredibly thankful for the bikes to Valley Bank, Onbikes and the Housing and Community Development Network of New Jersey for creating this opportunity and changing lives.
