Norwescap’s Mental Wellness Workshops offer free, monthly sessions focused on promoting mental well-being and building a stronger, healthier community. These informational and interactive workshops are designed to help participants recognize signs of mental health challenges, learn helpful practices, and gain access to vital support and resources.
Join us each month either in-person at our Phillipsburg office (350 Marshall Street) or virtually via Microsoft Teams, as we continue this powerful initiative in partnership with the Mental Health Association of New Jersey.
Why Mental Health Matters
Mental health is one of the most significant factors impacting an individual’s ability to thrive. According to Norwescap’s latest Community Needs Assessment, mental health challenges including loneliness and social isolation remain major barriers to achieving personal goals.
📊 New Jersey ranks #1 in the prevalence of mental illness, but 31st in access to care.
📉 57% of adults with a mental illness in the state do not receive any treatment.
By providing these free workshops, Norwescap aims to reduce this gap and create a more informed, supportive, and connected community.
Please note that Norwescap’s Mental Wellness Workshops are informational and educational in nature. These workshops are not a substitute for professional mental health treatment or therapy. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or need clinical support, we encourage you to contact a licensed mental health professional or call 988 for immediate assistance.
