Job Description:
We are currently searching for confident and experienced Substitute Teachers to join our Norwescap Early Head Start and Head Start team. If you are a friendly and competent professional with an interest in education, then we’re interested in you. To excel in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of effective teaching practices that ensure learning is a comfortable and meaningful experience. Our ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal and organizational skill, with a strong command of the English language. Bilingual applicants encouraged to apply.
Number of Positions Available: Multiple
Weekly Hours:
Number of Weeks per Year: 41 Weeks for Head Start/50 for Early Head Start
Rate of Pay: $11.14 – $15.54 depending on position and qualifications
Required Level of Education: High School Diploma or equivalent qualifications At least 60 semester-hour credits at a regionally-accredited college or university Bachelor’s Degree in teaching is preferred
Required Number of Month / Year Experience:
Required Degree or Formal Training: Hold a New Jersey educator credential, Substitute credential, CDA or HS diploma
Required License Certificate or Registration:
