Seeking a highly motivated, talented Social Media & Digital Communications Coordinator to join Norwescap’s Development team and support the agency’s growing communications and marketing efforts, aimed at engaging donors and supporters, partners, community members, and program participants. Job Description:
• Create written and visual content for social media platforms, email marketing/communications, and website/blogs
• Capture content from across Norwescap’s programs, including stories, photos, videos, program updates/events, and donor/partner acknowledgments and adapt content for social and digital channels
• Ensure that social media channels remain current and reflect real time content
• Monitor interactions on social media channels and participate in real time community conversations on behalf of Norwescap
• Monitor and measure performance and analytics on social and digital marketing analytics
• Support program teams in engaging with stakeholders through social and digital channels
• Engage current and potential donors, and continually build and enhance the organizations reputation and brand recognition, using various marketing platforms
Number of Positions To Fill: 1
Number of Weeks Per Year: 52
Number of Hours Per Week: 40
Rate of Pay: $19.23 – $20.67
Required Level of Education: BA/BS in Communications field preferred
Required Number of Months / Years Experience: • 2-5 years’ experience in content creation, graphic design, marketing, communication, and/or social media coordination required; non-profit experience preferred
Required Degree of Formal Training: • Experience with web design preferred (WordPress, Weebly, Wix, SquareSpace) • Background in journalism, creative writing, photograph/videography, and/or public relations a plus
