WASHINGTON BUS AIDE

15 HOURS PER WEEK, PART YEAR (SUMMERS OFF)
$16.46 per hour

Job Overview We are a fast-paced and high-demand, non-profit program that depends on everybody in every position to help our centers function with ease. You will gain diverse experience working with an at-risk population. Cross-training is available and expected for all positions. Responsibilities and Duties
• Help children board and exit the bus safely
• Follow confidentiality practices
• Ensure children are properly positioned and restrained
• Assure that the bus driver is not distracted from the safe operation of the vehicle
• Ensure that no child is left unattended on the bus
Minimum Education Level
High School Diploma/GED
Preferred Education Level
Associates, or higher, in early childhood education
Experience
Some experience preferred
Preferred Experience
2+ years of direct experience with at-risk population
