Program: MCCYC – Morris County Council for Young Children

Job Location: 712 S Main St., Phillipsburg, NJ 08865 and Morris County, NJ (In office role)

# of positions available for this title and location: One

# of Hours per week for this position: 35hrs

# of weeks per year for this position: 52 weeks

Hourly rate of pay: $23-$24

(all positions have a minimum and maximum starting rate)

Required education level: High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

Valid driver’s license required

Ability to commute to and around Morris County

Required # of Months/Years of Experience: 5 years of experience working with culturally diverse communities/families and the ability to be culturally sensitive/appropriate.

Brief job description or pertinent information that an applicant may need to know in order to apply for this position:

The coordinator’s responsibilities include providing leadership and working closely with the local CCYC Steering Committee and general membership to address the needs of families in early care and education, social service or health programs in communities and schools; Facilitate the process to develop a CCYC Early Childhood Plan in collaboration with local stakeholders, and in consultation with other state or regional partners; and Ensure stakeholder investment and participation in the council. Coordinator will oversee the day-to-day work of the council; Driver’s license required. Bilingual (Spanish-Speaking) preferred.
