POSITION: FAMILY WORKER

35 HOURS PER WEEK, FULL YEAR

Job Overview
We are fast-paced and high-demand, non-profit program that depends on everybody in every position to help our centers function with ease. You will gain diverse experience working with an at-risk population. Cross-training is available and expected for all positions.
Within 18 months of hire, have a credential or certification in social work, human services, family services, counseling, or a related field.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Attend recruitment events, including but not limited to, nights and weekends
• Perform multiple, and timely, computer and data entry tasks
• Build family partnerships to assess family needs Connect families to local resources that support family sufficiency
• Conduct home visits in conjunction with education staff and as social service needs arise

Qualifications
Minimum Education Level
High School Diploma/GED

Preferred Education Level
Associates, or higher, in early childhood education, social work, or related field

Experience
Head Start or social service experience preferred

Preferred Experience
2+ years of direct experience with at-risk population

Personal characteristics: Self-motivated, inclusive, passionate about helping
Certifications: Driver’s license
Physical abilities: Lift 30 pounds

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.55 – $20.58 per hour
