Our community working together to ensure that families in need have access to basic needs including diapers, wipes, and children’s clothing.
The Norwescap Diaper Pantry collects diapers from the community and purchases diapers with monetary donations. Norwescap distributes diapers and wipes monthly to families in need in Sussex County directly and through our partner agencies.
Donations of new and gently used clothing are collected, cleaned, and hung to create a boutique style experience for families in need.
The Need is Great
Infants in low-income families often suffer from infrequent diaper changes. Diapers are expensive (as much as $112 per month per baby) and can’t be purchased with food stamps. Clothing donations include basic clothing needs and warm weather essentials.
We Need Your Help
The Norwescap Diaper Pantry/Caring Closet relies on our community to spread awareness and for donations to continue these efforts. Caring citizens, schools, churches, organizations, or companies can help supply the needed diapers by hosting a diaper drive or a “Dollars for Diapers” fundraiser. Whether you choose to host a large, small, one-time, annual, or ongoing drive—all efforts help to support our communities’ most vulnerable members.
We Have the Tools and Ideas to Make Your Drive Successful
Our goal is to make it easy for you to host a drive. We can provide brochures, posters, flyers, and even church bulletin inserts. Additionally, we have lots of ideas to share with you to ensure a successful drive. For more information, contact us at:
