This four-class series will introduce participants to the basics of computers, including different types of computers, the differences between hardware and software, an overview of the Windows operating system, file management, what to consider when purchasing a computer, and a look at internet browsers and search engines.
These four classes will cover:

- Differences between hardware, software, and operating systems (focusing on Windows)
- File management basics — how to name, store, and find files
- Things to consider when purchasing a computer
- Internet basics — browsers, search engines, accessing email, and setting up favorites
- Keyboard and mouse skills overview and practice
