Norwescap provides life-saving and life-changing services to over 30,000 New Jersey residents annually. Your support is vital and has a direct impact on the individuals and families we serve. We cannot do our work without you!
Your financial support ensures that a low-income single mother will get the childcare she needs to keep her job; it ensures that the heat will stay on this winter for an elderly grandfather on a fixed income; it ensures that families can stay in their homes; that hungry people are fed; and your contribution helps us to train people struggling financially how to become financially self-sufficient. A $1.00 contribution can provide a hungry family with 14 lbs. of food.
Your contribution is the catalyst for lasting, sustainable change in people’s lives.
Your investment in Norwescap is an investment in northwest New Jersey’s human capital. But your investment yields truly amazing financial results as well. Every dollar you contribute leverages between $8.00 and $9.00 in additional support and 95 cents on every dollar goes directly to programs and services. Overall, Norwescap’s impact on our communities is well over $70,000,000.
Thank you for your contribution.
Ways To Get Involved
Whether its sorting donated food items at the food bank, calling isolated seniors citizens once a week to keep them active and engaged, helping low-income residents prepare their tax returns, helping to organize a fundraising event, reading to Head Start classrooms, or some other valuable activity —volunteerism is an essential source of power for Norwescap.
Norwescap deploys hundreds of volunteers every year. Every volunteer helps Norwescap expand our impact and keeps our costs low.
Whether you have a specific skill set that can be useful to our program participants or if you just want to give a little personal time to make a difference, we can find an opportunity for you to help. Norwescap welcomes Churches, Synagogues, Mosques and other places of worship as well as schools, corporations, civic groups and others to help with volunteer projects.
Some volunteer activities are listed below, but we welcome any ideas about ways you may be able to help. Please just give us enough time to organize and plan a high-quality event that delivers impact for both the volunteer and Norwescap!
