It’s not too early to think about tax time -Free Income Tax preparation assistanceFor more than 30 years, Skylands RSVP of NORWESCAP has been offering free Federal and State Income Tax preparation through Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA). Volunteers, who are certified by the Internal Revenue Service, will be available for free tax preparation at sites throughout Morris, Sussex, Warren and Hunterdon Counties from February 1 through April 15, 2012. VITA site schedules include daytime, evening and weekend hours. The FREE income tax assistance is available for those with uncomplicated returns- including the elderly, people with disabilities, and income eligible people.
