Parents want their children in safe, nurturing environments that provide children with the skills necessary to enter school ready to learn. NORWESCAP Child & Family Resource Services (CFRS) is the local child care resource and referral agency for Sussex, Warren, and Hunterdon Counties. CFRS helps families find, select, and pay for child care, provides training and support to child care providers, as well as, helps parents in our communities and state meet their child care and parenting needs. For Immediate Release: Avon Breast Health Outreach Program Awards Grant for Breast Cancer Awareness Program to NORWESCAP, Inc.

The Avon Breast Health Outreach Program has awarded a $20,000 one-year grant to the Northwest New Jersey Community Action Program (NORWESCAP) to increase awareness of the life-saving benefits of early detection of breast cancer. It is the second year that the program has received funding from the Avon Foundation for Women to support its work on this important health issue, and in recognition of the program’s excellence.
